Odd Future 2013 Spring/Summer Collection – Delivery 2
Odd Future may have only recently launched their product line, but it seems that the collective has already established a handful of favorite designs. OF’s “Free Earl” face, the Jasper Dolphin and “high.” logo are just a few of the familiar graphics that return for Spring/Summer 2013. In summer-appropriate fabrics, patterns and colors that represent some of the group’s most popular personalities, this season’s second delivery ranges from floral-printed Earl pocket tees and heather grey hoodies, to the colorful Jasper Dolphin Balloon T-shirt and accessories like the Domo High snapback.
Launching Hawaiian Hundreds Behind the Tee
In celebration of The Hundreds “Hawaii” collection, Ben and Bobby Hundreds, along with the rest of the Hundreds team took a trip to Hawaii. Taking off for a week of business and pleasure, the team hit up spots such as In4mation and Fitted as well as some of the local eateries such as Rainbow Drive-In and Hiroshi Yakiniku. Afterwards, the team took to the roads on their mopeds to check out the scenery before celebrating the launch of the “Hawaii” collection at their Hawaii flagship. Check out all three videos from the trip below.
DAAN 2013 Spring/Summer Collection
If you missed out on DAAN‘s inaugural launch at General Pants Co., you’ll be pleased to know that the label’s Spring/Summer 2013 menswear pre-collection is back in stores. Designed by Dan Single — better known as one-fourth of legendary Australian label Ksubi — the five-piece capsule was “inspired by models wearing big and baggy clothing” and paid homage to androgyny with boldly-patterned, unisex silhouettes. And while the paisley tracksuit pant and top, 5-panel cap and wildly-popular logo tees proved elusive for many the first time around — selling out nationally and online — they are now back in stock at General Pants Co. and available for purchase.
SSUR has released the first delivery of their highly-anticipated line with world-renown abstract street artist Futura. Connected through the New York underground art world, Futura and SSUR have notable association, and in his signature hand-written style, Futura gives us his interpreation and artistry, affectionately as “FUCK SSUR.” This drop features T-shirts, duffle bag, and other fine goods, with even more to come this summer. The first drop is now available at store.ssurempirestate.com and select retailers worldwide.
Sangue 2013 Spring/Summer Hand-Printed T-Shirts
Sangue — translated from Italian to mean “blood” — is the work of founder and designer Angelo Milano, who hand-prints T-shirts from a place he calls “a self-built, fucked-up printing studio” in Grottaglie, Italy. In Milano’s hands, the images and landscapes of Southern Italy — stone walls, rock faces, cloudy skies, rusted metal doors — are screen-printed with striking accuracy onto tees and shorts. Despite the impressive photo-realism, however, the garments are not meant to be perfect. Says Milano of the brand, “it’s the result of the obstinence of one person only, combined with inexperience, improvisation, and tolerance – if not quest — for mistakes.

AMBSN 2013 Summer Lookbook video
Thank god AMBSN made this video lookbook because we had no clue how to pronounce the brand’s name. Now we know, it’s like a cross between “ambition” and “vision.” With that cleared up we can actually check out the line, which goes in on a american vacation themed tip that won’t work for everyone but will definitely have some fans.
Mike Tyson & Staple T-Shirt Collection
In a continuation of their relationship that began with a two part 1-2-1 w/jeffstaple, the two parties link up on a collaborative T-shirt collection inspired by a mutual love for pigeons. Shot on location at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, the collection of four T-shirts presented here will serve as the precursor for a further fall collection that will include two graphic T-shirts, an embroidered hooded sweatshirt, fleece varsity jacket and a Mitchel & Ness snapback.
Mishka 2013 Summer Lookbook
After presenting a freak peek video of Mishka‘s Summer 2013 lookbook a few days ago, we’re now able to show all the images from the New York brand’s latest collection. Floral patterns and vibrant colors like Mishka’s signature teal and magenta play a prominent role this season while references to the ’80s keep things retro. Color-blocked patterns make their way into a few looks as well for a dynamic collection that clashes, yet complements the streets of New York.
