WTAPS X Vans VAult 2013 Fall/Winter Collection
Coinciding with this season’s popular collaborative footwear release, Tetsu Nishiyama and WTAPS have come together with Vans Vault to create a capsule collection of limited edition apparel. Marked by the predominance of red, white and blue, the range includes hoodies, graphic tees, caps, a tote, and even a Sk8-Hi keychain. The entirety of the collection is due to be available beginning this Saturday, August 24 at HOODS locations and GIP-STORE.
The GIP Store visited by highsnobiety
In 2011 Japanese brand WTAPS opened its new flagship store in Shibuya, Tokyo. The GIP (Guerilla The Incubation Period) Store closely follows the base principles of the brand. The interior is heavily military inspired, both on the interior and the exterior. Next to WTAPS, the store also carries the other collection by creative director Tetsu Nishiyama, entitled FORTY PERCENTS AGAINST RIGHTS. While WTAPS has been hanging in HOODS stores next to Neighborhood, the GIP store for the first time 100% expresses the vision of the brand. Beautiful details include custom furniture, as well as GIP store bikes and scooters parked in front of the shop.

Honeyee presents WTAPS 2013 Spring/Summer “Philosophy” Editorial with Yosuke Kubozuka
Japanese actor Yosuke Kubozuka stars in “Philosophy,” honeyee‘s new editorial spread for WTAPS‘ Spring/Summer 2013 collection. A survey, perhaps, of Tetsu Nishiyama‘s own design ethos, this season’s looks are a familiar mix of military, prep and work-inspired designs — washed cotton jungle shirts, polos, graphic tees and plenty of chambray.
